Responsibilities*
As Section Chief, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Vision: Develop, articulate, and execute the clinical, academic, and educational vision for Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology, aligned with the divisional and institutional goals.
- Clinical Leadership: Manage faculty schedules and clinical operations, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Advancing Scholarship: Promote a productive and collaborative research environment, supporting faculty achievement and interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Fostering Education: Cultivate a thriving learning culture for trainees and faculty, enhancing mentorship, teaching, and professional growth.
- Faculty Development: Oversee evaluations, recruitment, and development.
- Collaborating for Impact: Partner with leadership across the Division and Institution to advance clinical innovation, research, and educational excellence.

Required Qualifications*
We seek leaders with:
- M.D. or D.O. with board certification in Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
- Eligibility for Michigan medical licensure.
- Distinguished record of clinical and teaching achievement and scholarly productivity.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in mentorship, education, and faculty development.
- Commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Academic rank and track will be determined by qualifications and experience.

Background Screening
