We are offering a $15,000 Sign-on Bonus!
Work Schedule: 7:00am - 5:30pm Mon-Fri with On Call hours required
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Prepare patients for catheterization procedures by conducting thorough assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current medications.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and other interventional procedures while maintaining strict aseptic technique.
- Monitor patient status continuously during procedures, managing sedation levels and responding promptly to any adverse events or complications.
- Administer medications including IV infusions, injections, and sedation as prescribed.
- Provide post-procedure care such as catheter care, wound management, and patient education on recovery processes.
Qualifications
Required
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required. Current BLS certification required. Must meet all unit specific certification requirements (ACLS, PALS).
- One (1) or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Cardiac Cath Lab or Critical care preferred (or similar specialty ICU/ED/Telemetry/PCU/CCU).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Must live within 30 minutes due to call time requirements
Preferred:
- BSN Preferred
- Specialty Certification encouraged.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$40.50- $56.99
Other Compensation (if applicable):
- Base rate, plus any evening or night differentials will apply
- $6.50 on-call
- Eligible for up to $15,000 sign on bonus. (External applicants only)
- Eligible for up to $10,000 relocation bonus
