Is there a contract or lock-in?
No. Paid listings are month-to-month. Cancel anytime from your account dashboard. No phone call required. There are no setup fees and no cancellation fees.
Will my listing information be sold to third parties?
No. Your listing information is displayed on Black Health for patients to find you. We do not sell, license, or share provider data with data brokers, insurance companies, or any other third party.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade from Free to Complete Profile at any time, and cancel back to Free whenever you want. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.
What credentials do I need to be listed?
We accept MD, DO, NP, PA, RN, RD, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD, MPH, DrPH, DNP, DPT, CPM, CD (DONA), and most other licensed health professions. We also accept certified doulas, health coaches, and community health workers. Unlicensed providers are reviewed case by case.
Do I need to be Black to be listed?
Our directory is designed to connect Black patients with Black providers. Providers who identify as Black or of African descent are eligible. If you're not sure whether you qualify, email us at hello@blackhealth.org.
