Corrections Policy

Effective date:

Accuracy is foundational to our editorial mission. This page documents any substantive corrections to our published reporting.

This page lists any substantive corrections to reporting published on Black Health. When factual errors are identified, whether by readers, sources, or our own editorial team, we correct them promptly, transparently, and without attempting to obscure what was originally stated.

Our corrections policy:

  • Corrections are made within 24 hours for factual errors in published articles.
  • Minor corrections (spelling, grammar) are made without a note unless they change meaning.
  • Substantive corrections are noted in the original article and logged here.
  • We do not delete or hide corrected content. We add a note explaining what changed.
