Accessibility Statement

Effective date:

Black Health builds for digital accessibility for all users. We conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

Black Health is built to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and review key flows with keyboard navigation and automated accessibility checks.

What we do

Semantic HTML landmarks and headings; visible focus states; color contrast that meets AA on our brand palette; descriptive alternative text on editorial images; forms with labels and clear error messages; support for reduced-motion preferences; pages that work at 200 percent zoom.

Known limitations

Some third-party content is outside our direct control, including advertising frames and embedded map tiles. Provider-supplied photos may occasionally lack descriptive alternative text; we fix these when reported. We review and improve continuously rather than claiming perfect conformance.

Tell us what is broken

If any part of this site is hard for you to use, contact us through our contact form or email hello@blackhealth.org and we will fix it or provide the information in another format. This statement was last reviewed on July 2, 2026.
