The Sickle Cell Foundation of Tennessee hosts its 17th annual walk/run in memory of Memphis meteorologist Mark Walden, who lived with sickle cell disease. The event raises awareness and funds, and offers sickle cell trait testing, education, and family resources at Sea Isle Park.
