About this event
The 38th Annual Black Family Reunion returns to Cincinnati August 13 to 16, 2026 under the theme Resounding Resilience. The weekend includes a parade along Mehring Way, a Health Pavilion, a community blood drive, a job fair, and free concerts at Sawyer Point Park. Founded in the tradition of Dr. Dorothy Height's National Black Family Reunion, it is one of the nation's longest running Black family celebrations. Festival admission is free, with select events such as the Heritage Breakfast ticketed.
