The Sickle Cell Disease Association of Illinois hosts its 52nd annual walk, jog, or run at Hayes (Francis) Park on Chicago's Southwest Side. Participants choose a 1K or 5K, and registration includes an event t-shirt. Proceeds support services for individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease in Illinois. Check-in opens at 9:00 AM and the race starts at 10:00 AM.
