Free prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and cardiovascular screenings for Black men 35+. Bring your dad, your uncle, your son. No insurance needed.
About this event
Black men develop prostate cancer at higher rates and are more likely to die from it than men of any other group. Heart disease is the #1 killer of Black men in America. Black Fathers Health Day is our answer.
Services offered (all free, no insurance needed):
- PSA (prostate-specific antigen) blood test
- Blood pressure check
- Cholesterol screening
- Blood glucose test
- BMI and waist-to-hip ratio
- One-on-one consultation with a Black male physician
- Mental health check-in station
- Healthy food demonstrations and take-home snacks
Open to all men 35 and older. Walk-ins welcome; appointments preferred.
