The Foundation for Black Women's Wellness hosts a nationwide virtual support group for women of color living with any stage or type of lupus, meeting Monday, September 21, 2026 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Central.
Lupus disproportionately affects Black women, and living with it is easier alongside women who understand it. The group supports, honors, and guides one another; register through the Lupus Warriors page or by phone with Mary Wells at 608-709-8909.
The group meets the third Monday of each month: October 19, November 16, and December 21 dates are also listed.

Support groups are free peer care, and community mental health centers see patients on a sliding scale; our directory of free and charitable clinics lists them by state.
