About this event
The National Medical Association (NMA) is the oldest and largest professional organization representing African American physicians and their patients. Its annual Convention and Scientific Assembly is the flagship gathering for Black physicians and the trainees, researchers, and students who come up through the organization.
The 2026 convention runs July 25-29 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan. Programming spans scientific sessions across specialty sections, Category 1 CME, the Scientific Assembly, health policy forums, and networking events.
