The Sickle Cell Disease Association of America hosts its annual Warrior Walkathon at Lake Montebello in Baltimore. The walk raises funds for sickle cell disease research, better treatments, and quality-of-life programs, and has raised more than 500,000 dollars over its history. Participants can join in person or complete the walk virtually.
