The American Diabetes Association's 2026 Step Out Walk: Houston is Saturday, November 14, 2026, during American Diabetes Month, at The Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park, 105 Sabine Street. Check-in runs 8:00 to 9:00 AM, the walk starts at 9:15 AM, and the event wraps around 11:00 AM.
Diabetes falls heavily on Black families in Houston and nationally, and the walk funds research, advocacy, and education programs. Registration is free, with fundraising encouraged.
