About Mordecai Andemichael
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward? You may feel disconnected from yourself and the life you want to live. Sometimes you know what needs to change but find yourself repeating the same patterns. Other times, you may not fully understand why you feel the way you do. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, better understand what you are experiencing, and approach your challenges differently. My goal is to build a supportive and collaborative relationship where you can be open about what you are going through without feeling judged. Together, we will identify what matters most to you, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop realistic ways to move forward. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, self-esteem difficulties, and major life changes. Rather than simply giving advice, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to help you understand yourself more deeply, develop healthier ways of responding to difficult emotions, and make changes that are meaningful and sustainable. If you're ready to work toward the life you want, I invite you to reach out and schedule an appointment.

Approach to care
I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, supportive, and focused on what matters most to you. I take time to understand not only the challenges bringing you to therapy, but also the patterns, experiences, and emotions that may be contributing to them. During our first session, we will talk about what has been happening in your life, what led you to seek therapy, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. We will begin identifying your priorities and developing goals that can guide our sessions. As therapy progresses, I will help you explore underlying patterns, better understand your emotional responses, develop new ways of approaching difficult situations, and practice changes that can carry into your everyday life. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being open while also providing the structure, feedback, and gentle challenge needed to help you make meaningful progress.
